Health - Bad Breath when Brushing Is Not Enough

By: Jason Bauder

Brushing may not be enough to Combat Bad Breath

Many people suffer from bad breath, and most people are
surprised to know that brushing alone will not combat bad
breath. Here are some tips to get your bad breath under control.

Bad breath is usually caused by dry mouth. Many people that have
bad breath suffer from dry mouth. Another common cause of bad
breath is a sinus infection. While it is always good to talk to
either a physician or dentist on how to deal with bad breath
there are a few things that can help. Obviously make sure you
brush daily and use mouthwash, but more than that keep your
mouth moist. Chew gum or suck on a lozenge. Most people that
follow these steps will see their bad breath diminish quickly
and easily.

You should also watch what you eat. Yes, you should take caution
when eating onions or garlic but also take caution when drinking
or eating acidic drinks such as coffee or tea. Obviously if you
are having difficulty getting rid of your bad breath it is wise
to talk to a physician, but for most people following these
simple rules can have your mouth smiling with your bad breath
gone in only a few days.
