Travel Guide and Tourist Attractions

By: VMT Singuillo

How many times have you experienced going to a place that seems
interesting yet you have no idea what are the tourist
attractions that city or country has to offer for its visitors?
You would be fortunate enough if you have a friend, a family
member or a travel agency that can guide you in that place you
are visiting. Unless money is not an issue for you, going
through a travel agency could also be costly and many times many
of you would say, "I wanted to see more of blah blah blah but I
did not have enough time because . . . ." Wouldn't it be nice if
you could have some idea of any tourist attractions of the place
you are visiting? Some of the resources you could find
are books and the internet. Probably you could borrow a travel
book from a library near you. Or probably buy a brand new travel
book from the nearest bookstore. But just make sure that those
books are updated, otherwise, you might miss new attractions.
Searching the internet is also a good idea. It has tons
of resources, however, it could sometimes be confusing. Many
sites offer some travel information. One of those is www.yourcheaphotels.com
. This site feature a Travel Guide to the 50 states of the US.
It features some descriptions of each US state and provides
important tourist attractions that travellers should not miss to
visit. Let's suppose you visited South Dakota and you
just visited the cities such as Mitchell and Pierre for sight
seeing only. Upon your arrival back to your place, you tried
bragging to a friend of your travel unaware that he had been
there before. He would probably ask you, have you been to Mount
Rushmore? You probably might say, why should I go visit a
mountain? It is the site of the sculptures of the heads of
presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln
and Theodore Roosevelt! You just missed the number 1 tourist
attraction of South Dakota. How would you feel? Wasn't your trip
a waste of money too? It would therefore be wise to have a
travel guide or to do your home work ahead of time and know what
to see and expect in that place you wish to visit. Most
of all, always try to make your hotel reservations ahead of time
if you are visiting a place for more than a day or two so you
won't keep on bringing your luggage with you as you travel
around the place. You may make your hotel reservations at www.yourcheaphotels.com
. Well, well, well. Have you grasped the wisdom of the
importance of having a travel guide? Are you ready to go for a
tour now? Enjoy your trip and good luck.
