Los Angeles Fashion Award

By: Emily

The Event: Premier event for the Los Angeles Fashion Awards at
the Orpheum Theater, Los Angeles last October 21, 2005.

How do you get in? This event is open to the public. Tickets are
available at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers or
ticketmasters.com.

Why is it interesting to attend? This is a premier event hosted
by Melissa Rivers. A night of interaction introducing a diverse
group of rising stars and industry leaders who have contributed
in making Los Angeles a global fashion center. It's basically an
awards night for Los Angeles based editors, stylists, designers
and retailers.

This is a good way of knowing "Who's-who" in the fashion
industry and hear good inspiring messages from the renowned
professionals in the business.

What to expect? Prior to the show is an hour of interaction with
other guests attending the event while waiting for everybody
(all other celebrities, nominees and other VIPs invited). They
serve Hors d' oeuvres, drinks and music!

Parking is not difficult. Bring cash. It's self parking. The
Orpheum Theater is beautiful but you know how crowded it is
around the Los Angeles district. If you're not familiar with the
area, watch out for a lot of one-way streets!

What to wear? Evening Dresses or clothes that make a statement!
If you can't come up with one, you can't go wrong Wearing Black
in Los Angeles!
